Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Purity Shield PRO is a digital wellbeing and spiritual focus app. Core features—App Shield blocking, prayer alarms, quizzes, Miracle Journey, and local analytics—are designed to work on your device. Limited online services (account, profile, optional peak progress sync, crash reporting) use Google Firebase.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile

• Email and password (processed by Firebase Authentication)
• Display name, mobile number, church denomination, favorite quote (if you provide them)
• Optional profile photo (stored in Firebase Storage when you upload one)
• Optional cloud progress peaks synced via Cloud Firestore when you are signed in: highest streak days and highest Faith XP only

On-device wellbeing data

• Apps you choose to protect (package names and display names)
• Blocked attempt logs (search queries or app opens) retained locally for a limited period
• Current streak, current Faith XP, lifetime block totals, quiz consecutive days, achievement unlocks, Miracle Journey reflections, and prayer alarm settings (stored on-device; not synced to the cloud)
• Motivational-message schedule preferences

Device permissions (with your consent)

Usage Access data is processed on-device to compare the foreground app against your protected list. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Diagnostics

Crash and non-fatal error reports via Firebase Crashlytics (to improve stability).

What we do not use

• The App does not integrate Firebase Analytics (or similar advertising analytics SDKs) at this time
• The App does not use Firebase Realtime Database in application code

3. How we use information

• Provide App Shield, prayer alarms, quizzes, reflections, and analytics you see in the App
• Maintain your signed-in profile and optional cloud backup of highest streak and highest Faith XP peaks
• Improve reliability and fix crashes

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Usage Access data for ads or unrelated profiling.

4. Sharing

We share data only with:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage, Crashlytics) as processors to operate the App
• When required by law

We do not share Usage Access content or your protected-app list with third parties for marketing.

5. Retention

• Local block logs may be pruned after a short retention window; lifetime block totals and other progress metrics remain on-device (only highest streak / highest Faith XP peaks may sync)
• Account data remains until you delete your account or request deletion (see Your choices)
• Crash logs are retained per Firebase Crashlytics defaults
• Android backup may retain limited app preference data if device backup is enabled (allowBackup)

6. Security

Data in transit to Firebase uses HTTPS. Local data uses Android app sandboxes (Room / DataStore). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

8. Your choices

• Revoke Usage Access, overlay, notifications, or exact alarms in Android Settings (related features may stop working)
• Disable motivational messages in Profile
• Sign out from Profile

Account / data deletion: Email wordofgodalmighty7@gmail.com from the address on your account and request deletion. We will delete or de-identify Firebase account and associated cloud profile data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements. Uninstalling the App removes on-device data but does not by itself delete your cloud account.

9. International processing

Firebase may process data in Google’s regional infrastructure. By using the App you understand this processing is necessary to provide online account features.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
