Purity Shield PRO is a Christian-focused digital wellness application designed to help users build healthier digital habits, reduce distractions, strengthen self-discipline, and encourage spiritual growth through features such as App Shield, Prayer Alarm, Bible Verses, Quizzes, and personal progress tracking.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Purity Shield PRO collects, how it is used, and how we protect your information. This policy applies to the Purity Shield PRO mobile application published by Word of God Almighty.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
When you create or use an account, you may provide the following information:
- Name or display name
- Email address (for authentication)
- Profile picture (if you choose to upload one)
- Church denomination (optional)
- Favorite Bible verse or quote (optional)
Providing optional profile information is voluntary. You can use core local features without completing every optional field.
B. Information Stored on Your Device
Most application data remains locally on your device. Examples include:
- Prayer alarms and reminder settings
- App Shield settings and protected applications
- Quiz progress and results
- Daily streaks and achievements
- App preferences and personalization choices
Most application data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless specifically required for account-related features (such as authentication or profile sync when you are signed in).
3. Why We Collect Information
We use information to:
- Maintain your prayer schedule and reminders
- Save quiz progress and spiritual challenges
- Track achievements and streak statistics
- Protect selected applications via App Shield
- Display profile information within the app
- Improve app stability and deliver account-related features
- Synchronize account information when you are signed in
We collect only the information necessary to provide these features.
4. Permissions We Use
Purity Shield PRO may request the following Android permissions. Each permission is used only for the purpose described below.

Purity Shield PRO does not collect the contents of your messages, emails, photos, videos, documents, contacts, passwords, or other sensitive personal information from third-party apps. We do not collect:
- Banking or credit card information
- SMS messages or phone call contents
- Photos, videos, or audio recordings (other than an optional profile picture you upload)
- Contacts or calendar events
- GPS location
- Personal documents
- Passwords for other accounts or services
- The contents of your messages, emails, or other applications
App Shield may detect which application is currently in the foreground in order to protect apps you choose. It does not inspect the private contents inside those applications.
6. App Shield & Usage Access
App Shield is a core feature of Purity Shield PRO. To understand why Usage Access is required:
- You choose which applications to protect.
- The app checks which application is currently in use so protection can activate when a protected app is opened.
- It does not inspect the contents of other applications.
- It does not read messages or personal information from those applications.
- This information is used only to determine whether a protected app has been opened and to apply the protection you configured.
7. Offline-First Design
Purity Shield PRO is designed primarily as an offline-first application. Most features, including prayer alarms, quizzes, streaks, achievements, App Shield configuration, and daily progress, work without an internet connection.
Internet access is used for specific features such as authentication and account-related profile synchronization when you are signed in.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- Secure communication using HTTPS/TLS for account and network requests
- Restricted access to account information
- Regular application updates
- Minimal data collection — we collect only what is needed to provide the features described in this policy
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password for your account and keep your device updated.
9. Third-Party Services
Purity Shield PRO uses the following third-party services to provide core functionality:

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to:

- Update profile information
- Request deletion of your account and associated account data

12. Data Retention
Local data on your device remains until you remove it within the app or uninstall the application.
Account information associated with Firebase Authentication is retained only as necessary to provide services, respond to your requests, or comply with legal obligations. When you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify account data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirements.
